By conducting in-place load tests of existing piles from a prior structure at a site in New Rochelle, New York, Whitestone was able to provide direction for re-using existing piles in conjunction with site redevelopment. Recent Asbestos & Hazardous Building Materials Survey

In preparation for site demolition and redevelopment, Whitestone conducted asbestos and hazardous building materials surveys at this 24-acre Bergen County, NJ former industrial facility. In total, Whitestone collected 105 in-situ concrete/brick samples for PAH and PCB analyses and 737 bulk samples for asbestos analyses from the approximately 199,730 square feet (footprint), 13-building property.

Storage Facility Now Open for Business in Brooklyn, NY

This four-story self-storage facility was developed on a NYC “E” designation site situated along Shell Bank Creek in Brooklyn, NY. Whitestone’s services included geotechnical and environmental due diligence investigations, pre-construction surveys, construction phase special inspections, remedial investigation and remediation management, vibration monitoring, materials management planning, and air monitoring. The joint remediation and redevelopment activities were completed in conjunction with and under the purview of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Environmental Remediation.
