Whitestone provided environmental, hazardous building materials, geotechnical engineering and construction inspection services for redevelopment of a former industrial property in Chelsea, Massachusetts to a new Hampton Inn located directly across Second Street from the Mystic Mall. The former 25,500-square feet industrial building was demolished to enable construction of the new 106 room, multi-story hotel.
Geotechnical – Peabody, Massachusetts
Whitestone provided geotechnical investigation and engineering services for the proposed 4-story, 122 room Woodspring Suites in Peabody, Massachusetts. The extended-stay project is located on Jubilee Drive and is poised to serve Boston’s Logan Airport and surrounding businesses.
Construction Inspection - Niagara Falls, New York
Whitestone provided special inspection services in support of the $5 million expansion and renovation of the Aquarium of Niagara facility at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center in Niagara Falls, New York. The renovated facility will boast 360 degree panoramic views of the Niagara Gorge and 15 new living exhibits.
Geotechnical Inspection - Seaside Heights, NJ
Whitestone conducted a geotechnical investigation in support of the Seaside Heights, NJ boardwalk rehabilitation project which will include removing a portion of the existing wooden deck plank boardwalk and constructing a replacement concrete slab founded on both new and rehabilitated timber piles.
